We are delighted to announce that the self-made site Creative Current (by Creative Current) is our site of the month for June 2023.

This is an outstanding portfolio website that showcases their graphic design skills and portfolio and also effectively communicates their value to potential clients.

The logo and key headings throughout the website uniquely use a hand-drawn/script character which makes the branding and website unified and consistent with each other. The illustrations, colour palette, and photography all work together and lean into the coastal theme that relates tightly to their brand and location.

The simple, yet very effective animations behind the key headings of the website not only add a visual point of difference, they continue to add to the coastal brand theme. This website also does all the simple things well, all the content is well spaced, there is clear hierarchy, minimal amounts of text in each section, clear call to actions which all makes for an easy and engaging user experience. 

To top it all off, this site also works great on mobile, with excellent spacing and type sizes.
