On 3 March 2020, TechFest kicks off for another year bringing together technology leaders, business and the wider community from around the Waikato to see, touch and experience innovative technology products and solutions. TechFest is an event brought to the region by Te Waka: Waikato's regional economic development agency, and CultivateIT.

Build a Website Competition

Passionate about building digital skills and capability in the Waikato, we're running this competition to highlight that anybody, at any age, and with any background is able to create a high quality website using the Rocketspark website builder.

Along with CultivateIT and Te Waka, we want to encourage and inspire the youth to use digital tools in a real world setting—reducing the digital divide between tech in schools and the business world. 

Categories for entry are:

  • Primary School Yr 5-6
  • Intermediate/Middle Yr 7-8
  • High School Yr 9-11
  • High School Yr 12-13.

How to Enter

Use Rocketspark’s website builder to create a website home page for your marae, sports club, a not-for-profit organisation or for any Waikato business that needs a new website.
